The required flue length depends on several conditions, such as weather exposure, wind direction and whether the chimney is fully unobstructed. In general: the longer the flue, the better the heater performs in varying weather conditions. The recommended length is suitable for approximately 80–90% of situations. If necessary, the flue can be extended externally using an insulated pipe. - A draft stabiliser is recommended to compensate for wind effects and optimise chimney draft
